Lizard
ok time for lizard's inner weeb to emerge. I wouldnt be able to place a single anime as my favourite anime as no anime is truely perfect so i tend to say what trait they are best at however they all are good in the other categories as well Best Animation: Demon Slayer (Genre: Action, historical) Best Artstyle: Keep Your Hands of Eizouken! (Genre: Comedy) Best characters: Anohana (Genre: Bildungsroman) Best overall story: Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (Genre: Romance, supernatural, character driven) Best Isekai: The Saga of Tanya the Evil (Genre: isekai, military) Best classic anime: Full metal alchemist (brotherhood or not both are great) (Genre: Adventure, fantasy) Best Romance: Ancient Magnus Bride (Genre: Romance, Fantasy) I wouldnt watch any of these anime in dubbed I tend to find that it just doesnt feel right to me and Anohana has some really great voice acting in the original japanese Edited August 30, 2020 by Lizard
Cas
I only watch dubbed unless subbed is the only option for what I'm watching, since I generally only watch anime as background noise. S-tier: Berserk: The Golden Age Arc A-tier Dororo, HxH, One Punch Man, Dr. Stone, FMA:B, AoT, Tokyo Ghoul, MHA, Steins;Gate B-tier: Dragon Ball, Code Geass, Death Note, Goblin Slayer Honorable mentions: Naruto & Naruto Shippuden - for being a good long-term distraction back in the day One Piece - for accompanying me during workouts Planning to watch: Baki/Baki the Grappler Mob Psycho

Gandling
Ah the topic I've been waiting for. Very into fantasy anime. Especially action. You should be able to get a decent gauge of what I like from the list. Not in any particular order, also any bonus content from the same series I like as well (except Zettai Karen. I like the spinoff better because of its tone). I always watch subbed. I also don't like Samurai anime. Too predictable. Favourites: Hellsing Hellsing Ultimate Tenrou: Sirius the Jaeger Black Lagoon Death Note Devil May Cry Juuni Taisen: Zodiac War Code:Breaker 1eyes Zettai Karen Children: The Unlimited - Hyoubu Kyousuke Anime I've seen and felt indifferent towards (Meaning not my favourites but I watched it until the end so it piqued my interest): Owari No Seraph: Seraph of the End Tokyo Ghoul Rokka No Yuusha Black Blood Brothers Needless Tokkou Sankarea God Eater Angel Blade Noblesse: Awakening Noblesse: Beginning of Destruction Anime that went off the usual genre I watch (NGL, still entertaining): Interspecies Reviewers (That one was bizarre but found it silly and I liked it) Monster Musume (Not gonna lie, kind of liked this one's concept. I think every male does tbh xD) Anime that I've seen and hated how it ended: Blue Exorcist Akame ga KIll Vampire Knight Ghost Hunt Claymore Overlord 1,2 and 3 (The only Necromancer anime I could find and they fell flat) Ajin 1 and 2 Phantom in the Twilight Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai Kiss x Sis (Again, another one off the beaten path, this one is... disturbing, the implications but human nature compelled me to see how it ends... it's weird as hell) Shounen Onmyouji Wicked City Karakuri Circus (This one had so much potential but left on a cliffhanger. I loathe anime that do that) Demon King Daimao Quote Anime I've seen that left on a cliffhanger to continue in manga (I don't like manga as a medium, harder for me to consume): GetBackers (This one lasted a long time and just... left so suddenly, it pissed me off and I really liked where it was going) Tower of God (I kind of got over this one after a few days but it still left that bad taste of annoying cliffhanger bs in my mouth) Deadman Wonderland (Yet another one that had so much potential wasted, damn them for pulling me in) Trinity Blood (So interesting, yet so depressing that one of the creators died at the apex of when it was taking off) Quote Anime I've only partially seen and usually had a point that just made me stop watching (Usually involving cruelty to cats or got boring): Kekkai Sensen Parasyte Trigun Castlevania Black Butler Darker Than Black Kore wa Zonbi Desu ka? (yet another one outside my usual genre that piqued my interest but luckily, had the foresight to stop xD) Death Parade Drifters Neo Angelique Abyss Night Head Genesis Witch Hunter Robin Mao Dao Zu Shi Night Walker: Mayonaka no Tantei Sidonia no Kishi Mayonaka no Occult Koumuin Fairy Gone Arslan Senki Nobunagun Kousetsu Hyaku Monogatari Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro Madan no Ou to Vanadis Shuten Douji Bio Hunters Amon: The Apocalypse of Devilman Angel Sanctuary Tokimeki Tonight Beet the Vandel Buster Ghost Slayers Ayashi Kekkaishi Kemonozume Makaryuudo Demon Hunter Master Mosquiton Shin Kujakuou SoulTaker Vampire Princess Miyu Blood+ Dances with the Dragons Devilman: Crybaby (Animation is not to my taste, but the theme of the anime's setting and the intro song is awesome) Dorohedoro Plunderer Soul Eater Zettai Karen Children (The main series) Dies Irae Brave 10 Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress Bem Seikon no Qwaser Quote Anime I haven't seen and have no interest in (sounds like a common title so I have to remind myself to not watch it): Noragami Code Geass Fruits Basket Kaze no Stigma Tokyo Ravens D.Gray-Man Yu Yu Hakusho (Achievement Hunter overhyped it) Berserk (Everyone overhyped it) Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) (Everyone overhyped it) Cowboy Bebop (Game Grumps overhyped it) Naruto (Everyone and their mother overhyped it) Boruto (It happens after Naruto, of course it's going to be overhyped) Actually, I Am... Imawa no Kuni no Alice Shiki Kuroshitsuiji: Book of Murder (Sounds like something I've watched before but it isn't) Dororo Chaika: The Coffin Princess Guilty Crown Hundred Shaman King That should be about it. Shoved the rest in quote boxes because they are sub categories or specific. Edited September 15, 2020 by Gandling
